WORKOUTS:
One-on-one, couples, and group personal training. Each workout will be specialized to your own specific goals and levels. It will only take an hour of your time. No workout are the same in order to prevent stagnant workouts that yield no or slow results.
LOCATIONS:
I service all areas of Raleigh, Cary, Morrisville, Apex, and some Durham.
Strength Training
Strength training is so important in athletes as well as adults. To prevent muscle atrophy (losing muscle) we must incorporate strength training in our workout routines.
Lack of conditioning will not only lead to injury but also a decrease in metabolism. A slow metabolism makes it is harder to burn calories and fat, which is important to maintaining a lean
body. Common back problems can be prevented from core, stability,
and balance exercises as well as preventing many other inuries. My workouts will cater to your personal goals and will work around any njuries you may have or had so that your workouts can last
forever.
Example: If someone blows out their knee it may likely be from weak quadriceps. A prevetative action would have been to have strengthened these muscles. Quadriceps
play a huge part in stabilizing the knee and absorbing some of the impact your joints must endure.
A Strong Core
A strong core will allow you to keep proper body alignment for all movements (sitting behind a computer, running, tennis, swimming, picking up a ball, etc.). This reduces your risk for injury. A
strong core also allows your body to efficiently transfer force from the lower body to the upper body and vice versa. The key is be able to move your body the way it should be moved, unrestricted by
weak or unbalanced muscles. My personal training mentality is to build a strong foundation and go from there.
Metabolic Training
I believe that the way to being both lean and strong is through metabolic training. This is interval training mixed with resistance training. This ends up being a cardio workout mixed with strength
building exercises for maximizing calorie burn. It also ends up increasing your metabolic rate hours after the workout. If you're going to take the time to work out, you might as well use a method
that has been scientifically proven to work! Personal motto: Work hard or go home!
If your goal is to be lean and strong, I would love to help get you there!
