I offer one-on-one, couples, and group personal training. .Expect each workout to be tailored to your own specific goals and levels. It will take an hour of your time.  No workout is the same in order to keep your body guessing. 

 

LOCATIONS:

 

I will come to your home, personal gym, office, or park. I travel to all areas of Raleigh, Cary, Morrisville, Apex, and Durham.

 

Strength Training


Strength training is so important since we lose muscle tone as we age. To prevent muscle atrophy we must incorporate strength training in our workout routines. One of the main reasons why one has muscle atrophy is because of lack of conditioning. This leads to not only injury but a decrease in metabolism - not good. For someone who blows out their knee because of weak quadriceps, strengthening these muscles could have prevented this injury from happening. Quadriceps play a huge part in stabilizing the knee in place and absorbing some of the impact your joints must endure. My workouts will cater to your personal goals and will work around injuries to prevent future ones from occurring. Lift weights!

A Strong Core

A strong core will allow you to keep proper body alignment for all movements (running, tennis, swimming, etc.). This reduces your risk for injury. A strong core also allows your body to efficiently transfer force from the lower body to the upper body and vice versa. The key is be able to move your body the way it should be moved, unrestricted by weak or unbalanced muscles. My personal training mentality is to build a strong foundation and go from there.

Metabolic Training

I believe that the way to being both lean and strong is through metabolic training. This is interval training mixed with resistance training. This ends up being a cardio workout mixed in with strength building exercises for maximizing calorie burn. It also ends up increasing your metabolic rate hours after the workout. If you're going to take the time to work out, you might as well use a method that has been scientifically proven to work! Personal motto: Work hard or go home!
